We are under construction. As our project and team evolve, a new website is required to accurately represent the state of our practice. We’re taking this time to reflect on ourselves and develop an online experience that feels right for us.

FISK has been an ever-evolving creative project with humble beginnings as a student collective founded at CalArts in 2009. We’ve come a long way since then. After migrating in and out of Los Angeles we landed in Portland, Oregon—calling it home for 6 years and counting. We operate FISK primarily as a graphic design studio, but it's also a community hub, a contemporary art gallery and a cultural instigator at large. We’re design focused generalists with little distinction between art and commerce. Our clients help us stay contemporary because they value curiosity and culture the way we do.

For the last 6 years FISK operated as a split personality of a design studio and art gallery with a focus on product collaboration. But on the morning of our 10th anniversary we woke up and had a big, existential, realization. What we had categorized as separate practices were actually just one amorphous project spilling and mixing into itself—the design studio is the gallery, the gallery is the studio. Without barriers, we are now one giant oval canvas for all of our thoughts and ideas. See you soon!
